Peter Facinelli on "BO"

BO is a character-driven ensemble piece that tracks multiple stories within an Italian-American family unit and its respective relationships, over the course of a few summer days in New York. These interweaved tales revolve around familial patriarch Tomasino 'Bo' Bonifacci, and deal with themes of generational bond, fathers and estranged sons, cooking, food celebrity, the fishing life, sibling dynamics, unfaithful love, friendship loyalty, and letting go of the past. At times both heartfelt and comedic in its specificity, this richly textured journey offers detailed characterizations, and addresses universal themes - providing an impactful emotional experience for anyone who has ever dealt with the trials and tribulations of our human need for famiglia.
